An MDM knows a device is enrolled. It doesn't know it's on a shelf.
Jamf and Intune report what's checking in. Your team knows what's actually happening to each device — assigned, shipped, returned damaged, written off. Korvini keeps both.
The MDM feed updates the inventory. The lifecycle status your team set is never overwritten by an “enrolled” signal. When the two disagree, that's a flag, not a silent change.

Flags that stop applying close themselves after the next sync, and the resolved view keeps who did what. Nothing is decided for you — and nothing waits for you to notice.

An exception suppresses every rule for that serial until someone removes it. Bulk actions apply to the pending rows you selected.
Every assignment is a work order with a state machine behind it.
Onboarding, offboarding and replacement follow fixed paths. A shipment order waits for the signed handover form — photographed from a phone, verified by IT — before the setup email with the lock code goes out. On-site handovers skip the courier steps.
Offboarding ends in an inspection that decides whether the device goes back to stock or to repair. Chargers, docks and headsets ride along as bundled items, and come back — or get flagged — with the laptop.

Inspection outcome: damaged cracked display. On close the device is set to damaged and leaves the assignable pool; the charger goes back to stock, the dock is flagged lost.
A replacement links the old and new order: the return can't start until the new device is active.
Who changed what — a person, or a sync.
Every write is recorded with its source. Open any device and you see which MDMs report it and when they last saw it, its assignment history, and the latest changes with who made them: a technician, a bulk edit, an import, or the Jamf sync.
Reports and exports run on the same data — multi-criteria search, saved reports, CSV and XLSX — so the answer to “who had this laptop in March?” is a query, not an archaeology project.

Connect read-only credentials
Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune, read-only API access. The first sync imports your fleet; Entra ID is optional and only feeds the orphaned-assignment rule.

Each one explains its rule. Keep, dismiss, or mark exceptions — one by one or in bulk. Your lifecycle data stays authoritative throughout.
